Complete Hormone Panel

Both men and women suffer from hormone imbalances which impacts many systems in the body including the immune system, cardiovascular function, and brain health. Symptoms can include fatigue, low energy and motivation, insomnia, anxiety, weight gain or loss, abnormal menstrual cycles or flow, decline in libido, hair loss, hair growth in unwanted places, acne, mood disturbances, aches and pains, decline in exercise recovery, and brain fog to name a few.

I use the DUTCH Complete test by Precision Analytical to get the most extensive profile of your sex and adrenal hormones plus melatonin, along with their metabolites (broken down hormones), to track and evaluate your hormone levels, ensuring they are at their optimum balance.

What to Expect

The DUTCH Complete is a bundle that includes the sex hormone, adrenal (stress) hormone, and organic acid panels.

Your diagnostic testing kit includes:

  • Easy directions

  • Filter paper collection strips

  • Forms to complete with fields for the supplements, medications and hormone replacement therapy you may be taking

  • Health questionnaire

  • Sealable return envelope

  • Courier bag

  • Details of how to book the courier collection

You will collect four or five urine samples over a 24-hour period of time. Basically, you urinate on a strip of testing paper, let this dry, and then the sample is preserved. You will then send your samples to the Precision Analytical lab. Results can take approximately two weeks to receive. Once I receive your results from the lab, I will reach out to you to schedule an appointment. You can make this appointment at your convenience in the patient portal.

During your appointment, we will go over your results, identify underlying causes of any hormonal imbalances, and personalize a strategic hormone intervention to preserve your long-term hormone health, manage aging, and optimize body function.

DUTCH - Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones

The DUTCH Complete is a comprehensive test measuring over 30 markers in urine over 4-5 times in the day. Having multiple timestamps of your hormone levels provides insight on how your hormones naturally fluctuate throughout the day. The test looks at sex hormones and their metabolites, the overall diurnal pattern of free cortisol, and the total and distribution of cortisol metabolites. The panel also includes organic acid testing, OATs, which gives insight into nutritional deficiencies, oxidative stress, gut dysbiosis, melatonin levels, neuroinflammation, and more.

The analytical and clinical process is rigorously validated to verify accurate results.

The test is broken down into three main parts:

sex hormones, adrenal hormones, and additional markers including the organic acid test, melatonin, and oxidative stress markers
